$100M+ MANAGEMENT

Lauren launched her career in financial services as an Executive Assistant to the President of an estate planning firm. Within months, her “intelligence, motivation, and hard work” propelled her to become the Program Manager of a $100M+ program managing all back-house operations and funding activities.

LEAVING A MARK THEY CAN’T ERASE

Her success opened the door to a role as Chief Administrative Officer for a boutique financial services firm with management over HR, Compliance, Customer Service, Vendor Relations, Strategic Partnerships, Administrative Personnel, and Corporate Events. With oversight of a team of 40 across various departments, Lauren successfully reduced departmental turnover by initiating engagement and development programs.

MOVING FORWARD - THE ONLY DIRECTION

A career transition to Private Equity came about as a result of the recession. Lauren managed team operations and conducted initial deal analysis for all incoming opportunities. At the same time, she was launching her second business, a project management consultancy. As the CEO and Managing Director, she worked with several small and mid-cap for-profit, nonprofit, and faith-based institutions, helping them implement the same operational and administrative excellence she'd effectively managed in her corporate career.

WITHOUT WORK THE MAGIC WON’T COME

After spending her career working at notable firms like Marathon Asset Management, UBS, Ripplewood Holdings, Lindsay Goldberg, Allianz Global Investors, and others, she started consulting to exert agency over her life while positively impacting Black businesses and progressive organizations. Lauren is committed to making a global impact across the African diaspora and creating a legacy that will outlast her.
